Alison Ganko, daughter of Michael and Eileen Ganko, hopes to find a career that is not just work, but one she enjoys and that represents her well.
In high school, Alison was a member of Fusion (theme show), Tech Crew, Wildcat Boxing and a peer tutor. She was also an honor roll student and recognized as a State Scholar.
In her community, Alison volunteered in her local animal shelter and soup kitchen. She also served as a religious education teacher at her church. Alison traveled to Cartago, Costa Rica, on a mission trip with her church.
Alison is a James Scholar and a member of the Illinois Student Council on Family Relations (ISCFR). She is a member of the Illinois Street Residence Hall Council, Human Interest Professions (HIP) club and FOCUS Bible Study. She hopes to become more involved in ACES Student Council.
Alison's JBT scholarship is funded by the E. Louise and H. David Rogers Scholarship Fund.
