If you are a current University of Illinois student

To change your major to HDFS, you need to fill out an application. You can apply the first week of classes for the Fall or Spring semester (Due dates August 31 or January 18).  To apply mid-semester, application deadines are October 26 and Mid-March for the 2017-2018 academic year.
